Originally made for the Japanese market, it is the 1st made Artist Proof Studio Style Newport in a high buffed SSS handstamped 'No.1' on 11-18-04. Very Rare stamped NEWPORT although the head is a Newport 1.5. The head was handground and the bumpers were pinched in along with the toe and heal to round it out and give it the "roly poly" or "marshmallow" look like an original Classic 1.5.   Even though it is a studio style it has NO insert, it is the only studio style made without the insert!.  The CT shaftband has all specs filled in (by the studio) and in the Name section it says Artist Proof #1, it also has a very rare red leather wrap 1/50 ever made. The entire theme of this putter is Red White and Black and pictures do not do it justice, it is very hard to take pictures of it as the head is polished like a mirror.
