Description
If you are a collector of fine decoys and are interested in the entire collection of approximately 300 decoys, I can show them to you and we can work out a price. I have 3 pair of Delbert "Cigar" Daisey Ruddy Ducks, a Ringneck Drake by R. Madison Mitchell, 5-6 Pair by Bryan and 2 Pair by Joiner, all of which are brand new, just to name a few. All of the Jim Pierce Decoys are brand new as well. Some with the copper tags and some without. I also have one pair of R. Madison Mitchell decoys that was repainted by Bryan[Both Now Deceased](This gives you two of the best in a pair of Bluebills or Blackheads). The above are not offered in the this auction. Note: The auction is for the following items shown in the pictures. I am offering a collection of Captain Harry Jobes Decoys. He is from Havre de Grace Maryland and first started carving under the tutelage of Madison Mitchell. These are decoys from my private collection. I will be offering a number of decoys from the Upper Chesapeake Bay in the next few weeks. I have about 45-50 Jim Pierce Decoys, 40+ of R. Madison MItchells,4 Cork Mitchells, also Daisey, Heverin, Fletcher, Bryan, Joiner, McKinney, Lockard, Barnes, McGaw, Currier, Wagonner, Urie, Parker, Vincenti, Boxleitner,Gibson, Rick Bouchelle (rigged with custom stands to hold each decoy and weight), and many more including decoys some from Louisiana and other areas, including some Masons. I will be retiring in about 6 years so I am going to sell all my decoys, about 300 total. I am offering these in a group of Harry Jobes decoys rather than piece meal. This saves you, the collector/buyer on shipping charges and saves me on the charges of ebay. These are shown as a group of 2-5 decoys. If you have any questions, please email. When I get a chance I will list each decoy that I am offering in this group,. These were made mostly in the 1980 late and the 1990's. The pair of Wood Ducks was made in 2002. Most are signed by Capt. Harry Jobes, or have the HJ signature on the bottom. A few dont have either, but they are Jobes decoys guaranteed. They weigh anywhere from 2 lbs to almost 4 lbs. Rather than try to tell you what the shipping will be, I am going to offer free shipping in the lower 48 states via UPS or DHL or FED EX. Insurance will be your responsibility. If you chose not to obtain insurance, you are responsible for them one I deliver to the commerical carrier. I highly recommend you purchase insurance for this shipment. Due to the number of boxes I think it will take, it will probably not be much. If you pick them up here, I will pay $100 of your gasoline bill. That will save me a lot of time and labor and you can even see the other decoys I am offering for sale. I have the boxes to put them in and will wrap in Bubble Wrap prior to shipping to protect each decoy. I would really like to have you pick them up, but I can ship as I am a UPS shipper, as well as USPS. These decoys are all nice, but some do have age cracks in the body or around the neck. these have never been hunted with. Provenance : FRANK NORRIS COLLECTION-NC.
