My local bike shop professional ordered the bike (it was fully built up at the time) and I was so impressed with the aerodynamics, the ride quality, and the geometry, that I replaced all components with Campy Record and added one of the best wheelsets made: Mavic. Unfortunately, I am faced with back surgery and may not bet to ride again for some time. It's sad really. The bike would easily pass for brand new and it has always been stored in our rec room and treated with TLC. I am also such a "stickler", I saved all of the Campy boxes and can ship them to you seperately. I have added new pictures that show the beauty and like new condition of the terrific road bike!! The 2009 Madone 5.2 retails for $4,119.99, equiped with Shimano Ultegra. To give you an idea of the Ultegra Group to the Campy Record Group comparison, compare a used, 2001 Pontiac to a new Lexus. Ask any road cyclist, and they will tell you, nothing feels or works like Campy Record. The derailleurs have carbon components and the crank has carbon crank arms.
