Description
VIRTUALLY BRAND NEW 2009 SPECIALIZED TARMAC SL2 SRAM RED Hate to give this baby up, but I'm only one man and can't ride two bikes at once! First, take advantage of the live.com search cashback offer. I believe it is at 25% (capped at $200). If you're not familiar with this, e-mail and I'll tell you about it. Its 100% legit offer from Microsoft that I have used myself. So already the price of the bike is $3800! I built this bike up after getting a deal on the frame. Bike was built as a climbing machine so it has SRAM Red with a compact crank (172.5). Bars are FSA K-Force (42cm) and stem is a FSA OS-115 (90mm) with a carbon faceplate. Have not weighed the bike, but would guess it to be no more than 15 lbs. Specialized says nothing is lighter or stiffer and I believe it. My other bike is a Madone SSLx and the feel of the SL2 is way better than the Madone. So why am I getting rid of the Tarmac? Because the SSLx doesn't get squat on eBay anymore! I'd be lucky to get half of what I paid for that. The Tarmac is the "in" bike based on what I've seen at races. Also, CSC-Saxo Bank will be riding the SL2 so that says something! Last time I had this up people wanted wheels, so I'll throw in the Bontrager Aero X Lite wheels (the one on the front wheel and the matching rear wheel) and the Rival 11-26 cassette. So the auction is for a complete bike sans pedals...and if you complain about the lack of pedals you shouldn't be buying this bike because you cane find the 7800's for way cheap these days. Bike has about 60 miles on it. Its in immaculate condition. No dings, dents, scratches, etc. Also, frame has an unreigstered warranty. I will give you the warranty card with the bike. Local pick up is welcome. If you live anywhere near So. Cal, I can meet you halfway. Otherwise, shipping is $85 to lower 48 states. NO INT'L SHIPPING!! Don't even ask because its gonna cost you way too much. I'm perfectly fine keeping this bike so no low ball offers. The rescession hasn't hit me yet. I can tell you know that any offer with a "2" in front will get rejected (unless its $20,000, $200,000, etc.). MSRP on the bike is $7400. That is with wheels though. Priced out the way I did it it would be about $3000 for the frame and $2000 for the group plus about $200 for the bar and stem and another $150 for assembly. Oh, and please allow 3 days for bike store to package bike. Thanks and good luck!On Nov-21-08 at 12:01:05 PST, seller added the following information: CASHBACK INSTRUCTIONS Search through www.live.com and get cashback on this purchase Here are the steps 1.
