This is the brand new Madone that was completely redesigned for the 2008 model year. It was only ridden sparingly throughout the last 10 months and has never been crashed or even scratched for that matter. FLAWLESS!! This particular bike is the Performance Fit geometry. For racers and enthusiasts alike, the Performance Fit Madone shares the Pro Fit's ProTour geometry, but features a 30mm taller head tube that provides a slightly higher hand position. This makes the ride quality a little more comfortable, but does not sacrifice any performance factors of a true race bike. This is a truly sweet machine and with a starting bid of $4,000.00, should make it easier for those to own who don't want to spend retail of well over $8,000.00. The geometry on this bike is ideal for someone 6'0" and up. I am 6'2" and am very comfortable on this bike. TREK seems to fit a little smaller for most, for instance I ride a 58 cm Specialized Tarmac and the frames are nearly identical.
